Position title: Grants and Reporting Associate
Employment type: 60% with possibility of expansion
Salary range (full-time equivalent): 9,500-12,500 ILS gross salary)
About Comet-ME: Comet-ME is an Israeli-Palestinian NGO providing essential infrastructure and services—including renewable energy, clean water, internet, and agricultural livelihood support—to off-grid Palestinian communities in the occupied Palestinian territories. Our work combines sustainable development, technology, and human rights approaches to strengthen vulnerable communities and support their resilience in a challenging political environment.
Position overview: Comet-ME is seeking a highly competent and motivated Grants and Reporting Associate to join our team. The position will focus primarily on donor reporting, grants management support, and institutional fundraising for a growing portfolio of complex multi-donor and multi-partner grants funded by diplomatic donors, foundations, and international agencies.
Working under the close supervision of the Resource Development Director and in coordination with project managers and field teams, the Associate will support the preparation of narrative reports, tracking of results frameworks and logframes, grant writing, and donor communications. The role requires excellent writing and organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to synthesize complex technical and programmatic information into clear written reporting.
This position is well suited to candidates seeking to deepen experience in institutional grants management, donor reporting, and international consortium projects within the fields of sustainable development and human rights.
This is a hybrid position requiring one day per week in Jerusalem and occasional travel to the West Bank.
- Collect, verify, and synthesize project data and operational information from internal databases and project teams for donor reporting
Prepare narrative reports in compliance with donor requirements, logframes, and results frameworks
Support grants management processes, including tracking reporting deadlines, deliverables, and compliance requirements
Assist in preparing grant proposals, concept notes, and donor communications
Depending on organizational needs and candidate profile, support private fundraising, donor communications, and digital engagement initiatives
Key qualifications:
We are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented individual with a strong commitment to human rights and to Comet-ME’s mission..
Native-level English
Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment
Ability to synthesize complex information and work with structured data, including proficiency in Excel and comfort working with databases
At least 2 years of professional experience in grants management, reporting, resource development, M&E, project coordination, or a related field
Advantages:
Working proficiency in Hebrew and/or Arabic
Experience working with institutional donors, including EU-funded projects
Familiarity with logframes, donor compliance, M&E, and data management systems
Familiarity with the development, technology, or humna rights sectors
Experience with digital fundraising, communications, or online engagement tools
